I have been photographing since I was a teenager. In fact, I was the high school photographer.

For many years, I focused on color photography.  In recent years, I have also been working in black and white.  I print all of my own color and black and white prints.

I grew up and lived for most of my life in and around San Francisco, California.   In the summer of 2000, I moved to Portland, Oregon.  Much of my work centers on the landscapes and urban scenery of Northern California, California coastal areas, and the mountains, cities and coastal areas of the Northwest.  I have also photographed throughout the Hawaiian Islands, in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and on the islands and mainland of British Columbia.

My work has been exhibited in Northern California and Oregon.  I have had one-man shows at several venues.  I was a featured artist at the Carnegie Center in Oregon City, Oregon, and for Last Thursday on Alberta Street, in Portland, Oregon.  (See Exhibition Links for more details.)

My photographs have been purchased for display in many professional offices, including law firms, chiropractors, acupuncturists and therapists.  The Portland office of a major Northwest law firm has bought and displays more than 15 of my photographs on their walls.
